JigJam Concert Live at Off Broadway | St. Louis – December 11th, 2026

Off Broadway is all about pushing boundaries and showcasing fresh, inventive theater that you might not find on the main stages. It’s where smaller theaters like the NYC Theatre Workshop and the Signature Theatre, which started back in 1991, helped shape the future of American drama. The Fringe Festival, kicking off in 1997, is a wild card that brings in experimental shows and has launched some pretty big names now hitting mainstream stages. Most of these theaters seat under 500 people, making the experience super intimate, sometimes you’re so close you can practically feel the actor’s breath. The vibe can swing from electric and lively to cozy and personal in a heartbeat, especially if you snag a seat near the front. When you step into an Off Broadway venue, that bright sign above the door is like a beacon signaling you’re about to see something different, something special. For JigJam St. Louis fans, catching an Off Broadway show is like discovering a hidden gem, unexpected, exciting, and totally worth the trip, especially when these productions often bring a raw, unfiltered energy that just can’t be replicated in bigger theaters.
